A week after the purchase contract is finalized, you will be introduced to the construction phase of your home.
During this phase, you’ll meet with Rhonda Sweet and her sales team, who will help you select the model type of your home. In addition to showing you model homes with the floorplan and exterior elevation that best fit your family’s needs, our team will also help you secure your home loan before you sign a purchase agreement.
This is the part of the process when the design vision first begins to come together. You’ll meet with Toni Goodrich and the design team to select included finishes, like flooring and countertops, as well as any custom finishes you’d like to add, like cabinet stain and grout color.
Our design specialists will be by your side to guide you through the decision-making process, helping you select the options and modifications that make the most sense for how you live your personal lifestyle.
After the purchase agreement is finalized and the design finishes are selected, the first construction phase will get underway. Our Home Specialist, Oscar Covarrubus, will set up an appointment with you to confirm the options you selected. This helps create a smooth transition between purchasing, designing, and building your home.
Construction of your home will begin with the foundation, framing, electrical, and plumbing. We take every step of the construction process seriously, ensuring quality craftsmanship from the inside out. Oscar and the construction team will keep you informed throughout, so you can feel confident that the home we’re building is the one you invested in.
Now that construction has begun, the house is beginning to take shape. Our team will arrange a walk-through appointment with you after the framing is done but before the drywall is installed. This is your opportunity to verify the placement of all the options you’ve selected, including lighting fixtures, wiring, and room designations.
Once we have your approval, we will move forward into the final steps of construction. In this stage, your vision really starts coming to life: walls are enclosed and painted, flooring is installed, and interior finishes are put into place.
Construction is finished and your home is complete! We will schedule a final walk-through approximately one week before the close of escrow. During this walk-through, you’ll be able to preview your completed home and learn about its features. Our team will ensure you have everything you need before you give your final stamp of approval.
Once you’re fully satisfied, you and your family can move in and start making memories in your new home!
Our support for you doesn’t stop at the close of escrow! Within a week of your closing, our Homeowner Support manager, John Sarkis, will make a house call to confirm you’re happy with your home and to answer any questions you may have. He’ll follow up again a few months after you move in to see that you’re settled in and things are going smoothly.
At Fitzpatrick Homes, we’re dedicated to delivering a boutique homebuying experience. By making you a part of the process, our goal is to keep you in the loop and ensure your satisfaction from start to finish.
Our friendly and knowledgeable team will guide you through the six phases of buying a Fitzpatrick home, making sure you have all the information and support you need.
